Summary

JS-Convert is a free, client-side file conversion tool. We do not collect personal data, do not require accounts, and do not upload your files to our servers.

No data collection

We do not collect names, email addresses, payment information, or the contents of files you convert. Conversion happens entirely in your web browser using JavaScript on your device.

Files never leave your device

When you use JS-Convert, files you select are processed locally in your browser’s memory. They are not transmitted to JS-Convert or third-party servers for conversion. Downloaded results are created on your device.

No cookies

We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. The site may store your theme preference (light/dark) in your browser’s localStorage only — this stays on your device and is not sent to us.

No analytics (currently)

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising scripts at this time. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

Third-party resources

The site loads open-source libraries from public CDNs (for example Tailwind CSS and Lucide icons) to render the interface. Those providers may log standard connection data (such as IP address) according to their own policies when your browser requests those files.

Children

JS-Convert is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
